hey everyone..desmond khoo here..
hmm..long time no update this blog le..
anyways..yesterday was the pei hwa official opening..
just want to share with you guys the experience i had..
hmm alright..first is the parade by our dear schoolmates..npcc,ncdcc,& ncc..
their parade was super nice..
it was then followed by the sec one wushu students displaying their Pei Hwa Quan..
its quite exciting too..and there are lots of guests at pei hwa..
those ministers, supreme intendent and pei hwa foundation and advisary members were there..
the atmosphere was really great..
after the parade, the guest of honour, mr tharman shanmugaratnam went to seal the time capsule..
then, he proceeded to the conference room for around 10mins..
the guests were then escorted to the hall..
the hall was super super formal and grand..
those tables chairs and everything super nice..
so the ceremony started with singing of the pei hwa school song..
and was followed by miss chong's speech and then mr alan soh's..(chairman of pei hwa foundation)
then..mr tharman went up to stage and gave his speech..
after that, a pupil from our school went up to the stage to give mr tharman her drawings..
and finally, the concert began..
the dance club members performed..
nice performance indeed..nice work dance club members!
hmm..so there was some act put up by other own schoolmates..
then there was wushu performance, and the breakdance..
hmm..its not bad bah..quite nice in fact..
and then the band played some music..
and here comes the ending..
a pupil sang on the stage and the choir members came out..
then the wushu,breakdance, & dance members stood on the stage..
at this time, the members of the uniform groups came out and surround the hall..
the feeling was great..seriously..
so one of our schoolmates began rapping our school song..
then until the "here in pei hwa......" the pupils and teachers all sang the song..
it was awsome seriously..
after the performance, dinner was served..
and past teachers were invited to joined the dinner..
the food is not bad..shark's fin,fish,meat,prawns,etc..
while the dinner the going on, mr beng, and 2 of his friends performed on stage..
the music was soothing and uber nice..
hmm..after awhile the guest of honour left..
and the dinner carried on for around 2 hours..
then the dinner ended and everyone went home..
its indeed a memorable day for pei hwa.. and those teachers, staffs, and students who were present..
isn't it wonderful, interesting, thrilling, fun and exciting?
haha..i hope after this official opening everyone will have more time for studies and relaxation..
i think everyone needs a good rest..=D
